Process Operator - Elekta Department (Radiation Shielding)

Permanent contract, working 4 days per week 7am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday

The Role - Process Operator

As a Process Operator, you’ll receive full training enabling you to carry out the production / manufacturing process on your designated production cell in the Elekta Department (radiation shielding). You’ll be part of a close-knit team working day shifts, casting and creating moulds helping to provide the business with material to manufacture, with your duties to also include, although not be limited to:

• Achieving the production targets set for the department on a daily basis
• Highlighting and communicating any minor faults which may arise and cause delay
• Ensuring all operating conditions are correct before commencing production
• Maintaining accurate records of production

You’ll be based at our busy factory located on Sealand Road, on the outskirts of Chester City Centre, and you’ll be working 36 hours per week, 7am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday.

• Previous experience within a manufacturing / heavy engineering environment, ideally with experience of operating machinery
