The Role – Scheduling Resource Planner

Reporting to the Scheduling Manager and working alongside the Forecast Manager, as the Scheduling Resource Planner your role will be to ensure that we have the right people in the right place at the right time, ensuring that our client calls are being answered. This will be achieved by creating and maintaining schedules and a strong focus on day-to-day real time monitoring. 

Your role will be both interesting and varied, and the support you will give to your team will make you an integral part of it. Your duties will include:

  • Monitoring emails and dealing with any requests promptly, delegating as appropriate
  • Aiming to ensure everyone is able to take holidays, you’ll keep annual leave requests and annual leave allowance up to date, enabling us to say yes to as many of these as possible
  • Handling requests to change hours
  • Assisting with monitoring call volumes in real time to ensure that required service levels are being hit and any operational issues are identified
  • Monitoring calls to make sure that call peaks are recognised, and managers are made aware to ensure that everyone who can be logged on is available for our client’s calls
  • Supporting with payments of overtime, making sure the correct rate is paid
  • Making sure that colleagues’ time for appointments is made back within a particular timeframe and at a time suited to business needs
  • Supporting with frequent shift changes updates and building rotas

As the Scheduling Resource Planner, you’ll be working within our über friendly environment at our offices in Wrexham and will benefit from:

You will be working core business hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, although flexibility may be required.

Our Requirements – Scheduling Resource Planner

  • Experience with Workforce Management software (WFM)
  • Experience with analytical and reporting tools
  • Comfortable with new systems and utilising different systems at once
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong numeracy and computer skills
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail

Although not essential, experience in a similar role gained within a contact centre environment, is desired.
