Multi-Skilled Trade Technician
Field based predominantly covering projects across North East England
Continued business growth at A&S Contractors has enabled the creation of several additional roles for experienced multi-skilled trade professionals to join the established team within the Customer Care division, which supports the largest house builders throughout the UK. You’ll be working on diverse residential projects, from conversions to resolving minor defects within customer facing roles.
This could be your ideal career opportunity if you enjoy undertaking a wide variety of tasks and completing each job in a timely and efficient manner, with customer satisfaction at the forefront, whilst using a variety of your trade skills particularly high-quality decoration, but also frequently including patch plastering, tiling, basic plumbing, and joinery.
As a Multi-Skilled Trade Technician, you’ll receive a salary between £30,000 and £32,000, with the level dependent on experience and qualifications, plus overtime and a range of benefits including:

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business and customer needs, including occasional evening / weekend work.
This Multi-Skilled Trade Technician Role
As a Multi-Skilled Trade Technician, you’ll take responsibility for a range of allocated daily tasks within your geographical area, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest possible standards, whilst operating in a professional and friendly manner to deliver high standards of customer service on behalf of the house builders. Although you’ll be working autonomously, support from other trades in the business will be available where essential to complete jobs to a high standard.

A valid CSCS card would be highly advantageous, although training can be provided.
Due to the nature of the work undertaken by the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS Check.
