Graduate Finance Analyst

The Role – Graduate Finance Analyst

Reporting to the Finance Manager, as a Graduate Finance Analyst your duties will include:

  • Processing monthly payroll, expenses, corporate credit card payments and reconciling petty cash
  • Helping prepare the statutory accounts
  • Carrying out monthly reconciliations to ledgers and collecting data
  • Preparing VAT return for all UK divisions along with reconciling deferment account and Form C79 (Import VAT certificate)
  • Being responsible for month end tasks
  • Implementing new internal controls and ensuring sign offs and controls are being adhered to
  • Assisting the Financial Manager with coordinating the team and with data requests for internal / external audits
  • Assisting with new software implementation (training provided, if required)

Our Requirements – Graduate Finance Analyst

  • Be either part or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) and willing to work towards further qualifications
  • Good level of IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Timely and accurate data entry skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ambitious and driven

Although not essential, proven experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm, and Friday 8am to 1pm, at our manufacturing site in Runcorn.
