Customer Service Team Leader

What will the role of Customer Service Team Leader entail?

As a Customer Service Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for managing customers from a set geographic region, and for ensuring that your team of Advisors meet key targets.

You’ll manage, coach and motivate your team to achieve departmental KPIs and exceptional standards of customer service through listening to customer calls and assessing other forms of customer communications and providing feedback to your team as appropriate. Your duties will also include but not be limited to:

  • Monitoring your team’s timekeeping, absence and annual leave
  • Handling escalated customer complaints and queries and attempt to resolve issues at first opportunity
  • Reviewing daily and weekly summary reports to ensure crew run values are at agreed value and square meterage, supporting regional revenue targets
  • Resource planning through good judgment and sound interpretation of all appropriate management information
  • Reviewing cycle reports and suggesting appropriate sales campaigns according to current and future branch / regional capacity
  • Organising regular training and seasonal updates to support Advisors in gaining technical knowledge
  • Creating, building and actively promoting communications between the Advisors and Corporate Branch / Regional Managers

What do I need to be considered for this Customer Service Team Leader vacancy?

  • Proven customer service and team management experience
  • Experience of handling and resolving customer complaints
  • Confident communicator with excellent telephone skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and decision-making skills
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work

What will I receive in return?

As a Customer Service Team Leader, you will be employed on a full time, permanent contract working a varying flexible shift pattern between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Saturday.

You will receive a competitive salary of £21,000 to £24,000 level dependent on experience, plus company benefits.

Location: Head Office on the St Asaph Business Park. Conveniently located on Junction 26 of the A55, less than 40 minutes from Chester by car.
