Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Systems Analyst

12-month fixed term contract

Brilliant opportunity to drive the development of a proactive and responsible Health, Safety, Environment and Quality service that supports the Arriva TrainCare business in all HSEQ related matters and aligns with compliance plans, accreditations, and statutory requirements.

You’ll support the introduction of a logistical driven approach to the business performance to achieving, maintaining, retaining and leading continuous improvement within ISO9001, ISO14001 and RM3 standards.

Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, as the HSEQ Systems Analyst you will be an active contributor in continuously improving safety, the environment, product quality and business functionality with utilisation of Q pulse or alternative systems.

Your key duties will include, although not be limited to:

  • Acting as the point of contact for the Q Pulse data management compliance system, ensuring the system is being utilised to its full potential
  • Leading on user acceptance testing of any upgrades to the Q Pulse system, monitoring and reviewing the functioning of the data and training all users across all depots
  • Providing the necessary data, information, reports and analysis to support business improvement plans and strategies
  • Assisting the HSEQ Team with the development and monitoring of lead and lagging performance indicators
  • Assisting and undertaking performance monitoring of site inspections, safety tours, safe methods of work and accident investigations

What will I receive in return?

As the HSEQ Systems Analyst, you’ll be employed on a 12 month fixed term contract and work predominantly from our head office in Crewe, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

You’ll receive a salary in the region of £25,000 to £28,000 level dependent on experience, and attractive benefits including:

What will I need to be considered for this HSEQ Systems Analyst role?

  • Proven experience in the use of data management compliance systems, preferably Q Pulse, with experience of training others in system implementation and usage
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant HSEQ legislation, best practice and guidance
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to other rail depots across the UK
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Teams, ideally with a supporting qualification
