Finance Administration Assistant (Accounts Receivable)

The Role - Finance Administration Assistant

As a Finance Administration Assistant, you will predominantly be supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager in the daily reporting of financial figures and assessing the creditworthiness of existing and new customers.

Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:

  • Carrying out customer debt recovery tasks
  • Completing period end reporting and period end journal postings
  • Completing Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • SOX reporting
  • Supporting the interim and year end audits to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process
  • Supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager with Ad hoc tasks

Our Requirements - Finance Administration Assistant

  • Proven experience in office administration
  • Timely and accurate data entry skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Good level of IT literacy
  • Ability to use own initiative, prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Although not essential, experience of accounts receivable and working knowledge of SAP / S4 HANA would be advantageous.

The Package

As a Finance Administration Assistant, you will benefit from:

  • A salary in the region of £20,000 to £23,000, with the level dependent on experience
  • Study package (if required)
  • Potential to earn annual bonus
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

  • Free on-site parking

You will be employed on a permanent contract, working predominantly Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Flexibility with working hours will be required due to the nature of the role.
