What will this role of Telemarketing Sales Executive entail?

As a Telemarketing Sales Executive you’ll work from our offices in Runcorn, Cheshire, and be responsible for making outbound cold calls to existing and potential customers to share information about Yokogawa, our products and services.

Working with the Marketing Manager, Business Unit and Product Managers, as a Telemarketing Executive you will define and manage telemarketing campaigns which are aligned with strategic marketing objectives and local business plans. Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

  • Developing and delivering telemarketing campaigns and scripts which describe products and / or services
  • Researching accounts to find new potential contacts and companies within strategic industry sectors
  • Scheduling appointments for Sales and Account Managers to meet with existing and prospective customers
  • Processing Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) provided through event marketing campaigns as a way to qualify the leads further down the funnel towards sales actions (i.e. appointment setting)
  • Generating weekly reports regarding the level of calls made in the previous week, complete with the number and level of leads generated

What will I need to be considered for this Telemarketing Sales Executive vacancy?

  • Proven B2B telemarketing / sales experience, ideally gained within a technology / automation related industry  
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to absorb and impart technical information to others
  • Great organisation and administration skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results

What will I receive in return?

As a Telemarketing Sales Executive, you’ll receive an attractive salary of £17,650 to £21,000 level dependent on experience. You’ll also receive great additional benefits, including:

  • Pension with company contribution up to 12.5% dependent upon criteria

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with increments based on length of service

Contract: Permanent, working Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
