Management Accountant

Are you either nearly or newly ACCA or CIMA qualified? Do you have proven finance experience, perhaps gained as an Assistant Accountant or similar, and are looking to take the next step in your career? Due to continued growth, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our dedicated team within our thriving international business, based in Bangor.

Founded in 1966, International Safety Components Ltd are world renowned in the industry for specialising in the design, development, and manufacture of innovative engineered components and other 'Solutions in Metal'. We supply products globally to the 'Working at Height' industry which includes arborists, fire and rescue, rope access, and other industrial fall protection users, as well as the motor racing, military and other specialist markets.

The Role – Management Accountant

Reporting to our Financial Controller, you will be joining a dynamic and hardworking team and will play an integral part in supporting business goals.

Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:

  • Compiling month end management accounts
  • Reporting and analysing management accounts
  • Managing cashflow
  • Assisting with compiling data and reporting for KPIs
  • Manipulating and analysing data
  • Monthly VAT reporting
  • Performing and maintaining product costings
  • Assisting with calculations for budget purposes
  • Working on internal process improvements across the department and wider areas of the business
  • Working with the wider organisation teams to assist in cost tracking and efficiency gains
  • Mentoring and coaching the team members to develop their skills

Our Requirements – Management Accountant

  • Proven finance experience (perhaps gained in an Assistant Accountant or similar role) and be either be nearly or newly ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, and strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Although not essential, experience gained working in a multi-currency environment would be advantageous.
