Recruitment Coordinator

Luxfer MEL Technologies is a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of Magnesium and Zirconium based products and services to technology industries worldwide. The Role – Recruitment Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of HR and supporting our Talent Acquisition Partner, as the Recruitment Coordinator you will provide support with the recruitment process for vacancies at all levels, including apprentice and graduate recruitment. You’ll liaise between applicants and hiring managers ensuring timelines are adhered to, updates are obtained, and candidates are kept informed. Specific duties will include:

  • Ensuring the hiring process is in accordance with internal standards
  • Responding to recruitment related queries from applicants, management and colleagues, and  providing advice and guidance
  • Ensuring all steps are taken for a smooth recruitment and onboarding processes for management, interviewees, and new hires (which may include assisting with shortlisting and arranging inductions)
  • Arranging interviews and appropriate assessments
  • Updating and maintaining recruitment documents on the intranet

The Package – Recruitment Coordinator

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will join the team based within our Swinton office in Greater Manchester, and you will benefit from:

  • A salary in the region of £25,000 to £30,000 with the starting level dependent on experience
  • Generous bonus scheme
  • Permanent contract, working predominantly Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Flexibility with working hours will be required due to the nature of the role
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Our Requirements – Recruitment Coordinator

  • Experience gained in a similar recruitment or talent acquisition role, whether in house or in an agency (e.g., as a Recruitment Resourcer, Coordinator, Advisor or similar)
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Self-motivated, team player approach with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work on own initiative

Although not essential, experience gained within a manufacturing environment as part of a wider recruitment or HR team would be advantageous, as would a recognised HR qualification.
