Training Administrator (L&D) - 30 hours per week, 12-month fixed term contract

Superb opportunity for an individual with project planning experience with excellent administration and organisational skills to join Arriva TrainCare, the UK's leading independent train maintenance company, providing Light and Heavy Train Maintenance services to the railway industry from six strategically located maintenance depots.

As a Training Administrator, you’ll enjoy a varied role providing high quality administration support to the Training and Competence Team.

Based at our head office in Crewe, your duties will include, although not be limited to:

  • Maintaining competency frameworks and training systems to ensure data and information is accurate and up to date at all times, reporting any training needs to the Training & Competence Manager.
  • Ensuring Trainer Assessors have training packs prior to their training courses and ensuring all course evaluation forms are collected and processed
  • Completing all training confirmation letters and training certificates
  • Researching and maintaining knowledge of new theories, processes, resources and better ways of transferring knowledge and skills using learning and development opportunities
  • Supporting the implementation of the learning and development strategy

The package

You’ll receive a salary of £19,028 per annum, plus the following benefits:

You will be employed on a 12 month fixed term contract, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility around working hours is available and will be discussed further at interview. 

What will I need to be considered for this Training Administrator (L&D) role?

  • Proven experience of project planning and successful implementation
  • Accurate and timely data entry, organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Although not essential, experience of audits would be highly advantageous.
