Digital Marketing Executive (E-Commerce)

Lodge Initiatives is a well-established, fast growing business specialising in the wholesale of automotive parts across the UK and Europe. For over 15 years the company has been supplying parts from the world’s biggest manufacturers and European motor brands.

Supporting ambitious growth plans, over recent years the company has made a significant investment into facilities which now includes an 11,000 sq ft site in Deeside, near Chester. Lodge Initiatives takes care of its colleagues as much as customers, and there are plenty of opportunities for career progression.

What will this role of Digital Marketing Executive (E-Commerce) entail?

Joining our in-house Marketing Team and reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing our e-commerce plan over a number of websites and marketplaces. As a Digital Marketing Executive you’ll be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, which will include:

  • Day-to-day e-commerce product listing and merchandising
  • Monitoring key performance indicators to ensure our range is competitive
  • Researching new product, brand and business opportunities using quantitative and qualitative data
  • Producing content for products, buying guides, social media and email marketing communications
  • Promotional activities targeted at customer acquisition

What will I need to be considered for this Digital Marketing Executive (E-Commerce) vacancy?

  • Proven experience of working with product data within an e-commerce setting or a related role, ideally with a relevant degree level qualification
  • Commercial awareness, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience using an e-commerce platform (such as Shopify, Magento, WordPress)
  • Understanding and awareness of PPC, SEO and Analytics
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including producing Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
  • Ability to write short-form and long-form content
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and Photoshop-type editing software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of attention to detail, with strong problem solving and organisation skills
  • A valid driving licence with access to your own transport

Although not essential, experience with marketplaces such as eBay or Amazon would be advantageous.

What will I receive in return?

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll receive a salary of £23,000 to £27,000, level dependent on experience.

You’ll be part of a growing and profitable business, in which you’ll be given the autonomy and support to deliver and reach your full potential. You’ll also receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

You will be employed on a permanent contract, working full time hours, 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Location: Sandycroft, Deeside (North Wales). Conveniently located near to Chester, the Wirral, A55 and the M56.
