Territory Sales Manager

The Role – Territory Sales Manager

Reporting to the Area Manager / Sales Director, as Territory Sales Manager you will actively lead 25 to 30 reports across 6 to 8 branches to deliver on sales targets. 80% of your working week will be spent 1-2-1 with colleagues in branches with a focus on observation, feedback, and coaching. Your duties will include:

  • Inspiring and motivating colleagues
  • Attending daily branch ‘huddle’ meetings
  • Ensuring all employees are fully trained, identifying any training needs and assisting with the development of employees
  • Working with the Area Manager and Regional HR Business Advisor to identify and manage performance and support with employee concerns
  • Carrying out audits (minimum 4 times per year)

Our Requirements – Territory Sales Manager

  • Operational and people management experience
  • Experience of analysing and interpreting sales data
  • Experience supporting change in a business context
  • Robust IT skills, including ability to use databases and learn in-house systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, coach and motivate others
  • Ability to give direction in a robust and non-confrontational manner
  • Ability to work effectively on own initiative

The Package

  • Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Salary of £39,500, with potential to earn an additional £18,000 in bonuses
