Project Support Worker (Customer Service)

Full time – Permanent contract

What will the role of Project Support Worker (Customer Service) entail?

As a Project Support Worker, you’ll work within the Communities Team providing service users with a range of housing related support, with your main duties to include although not be limited to;

  • Providing a range of housing related support to service users with a view to enabling them to manage their individual tenancies with less support, and possibly unaided in the longer term
  • Organising and managing a range of engagement and involvement activities to promote social inclusion amongst service users
  • Taking responsibility for drawing up, regularly reviewing and reporting on individual risk assessments, support plans and expected outcomes
  • Ensuring service users maintain the property and where necessary providing practical support and guidance
  • Taking responsibility for managing referrals to the scheme, contacting and interviewing applicants/agencies and arranging panel meetings
  • Assisting with housing management and lettings
  • Maintaining accurate service user records and files

What will I need in order to be considered for this Project Support Worker (Customer Service) role?

  • Superb customer service skills, ideally with experience of working in a face to face customer service role
  • Comfortable with everyday conversations/discussions specifically in relation to your job. Be confident to converse in Welsh when required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • An awareness of the support needs of vulnerable people with the ability to work alone with confidence and good judgement
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good administrative skills for record keeping and assisting clients
  • A full driving licence and the availability of a vehicle for work purposes

What will I receive in return?

Salary: £20,023 per annum
