Regulatory Affairs Specialist (12 month fixed term contract)
Luxfer MEL Technologies is a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of Magnesium and Zirconium based products and services to technology industries worldwide.
Zirconium chemicals are produced at the site from a range of raw materials. Our lightweight magnesium alloys are machined or extruded to custom shapes and specifications to meet our customer requirements, and are used in high performance, safety critical aerospace, defence, healthcare, oil and gas and Formula 1.
We are a forward-thinking business with approximately 300 employees across the UK & US and are seeking to appoint a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our Quality Assurance and Compliance team, based in Swinton, Greater Manchester.
What will I receive in return?
As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will receive a salary in the region of £30,000 to £40,000 with the level dependent on experience and qualifications. You will also benefit from:
You will be employed on a 12 month fixed term contract, working predominantly Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Flexibility with working hours will be required due to the nature of the role.
What will this role of Regulatory Affairs Specialist entail?
As the Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Department as part of the team monitoring compliance activities under the guidance of the Head of Quality and Compliance. You’ll be responsible for compiling data and implementing strategic direction to ensure all compliance is maintained in all importation and manufacturing transactions, auditing business processes to evidence compliance. What will I need to be considered for this Regulatory Affairs Specialist vacancy?
Although not essential, a degree level qualification in Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or related Environmental Science or Toxicological subject would be highly advantageous.
