Sales Administrator

The Role - Sales Administrator

Reporting to the Head of Customer Services, as a Sales Administrator you will:

  • Be the first port of call for all inquiries
  • Co-ordinate and process quotations
  • Input and process orders
  • Review all sales orders and provide updates to customers
  • Maintain order related customer master data records
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure on time deliveries
  • Assist with quality activities to ensure customers receive products that meet their specified product specifications
  • Complete and maintain records in line with Audit and Quality requirements
  • Coordinate with the Sales Team to support ongoing customer development and growth activities
  • Develop and maintain all customer service quality procedures in accordance with various Quality Standards

The Package

As a Sales Administrator, you will benefit from:

  • Salary in the region of £20,000 to £24,000 with the level dependent on experience

You will be employed on a permanent contract, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm at our head office in Swinton, Greater Manchester.

Our Requirements – Sales Administrator

  • Experience of working in a sales administration or customer service role involving processing sales orders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages
  • Ability to multi-task, use own initiative and problem-solve, prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
  • Be a team player who demonstrates a high level of commitment and adopts a flexible and positive approach
