Despatch Coordinator (Logistics) No previous experience necessary

IQD Frequency Products Ltd has been providing electronic components for time and frequency control for over 45 years. We are based in the UK but support customers across the world. Four years ago, IQD became part of the Wurth eiSos group who supply a large range of electronic components. The eiSos group includes more than 7,300 employees and has an active sales team based in every country in the world.

We are a small company thinking dynamically and constantly looking to change and adapt to market needs, but we are also part of a very large global company with all the infrastructure, support, and opportunities this offers.

The Role – Despatch Coordinator

As a Despatch Coordinator reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the despatch / logistics process and work with other team members to achieve set targets.

Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:

  • Picking orders ready for despatch
  • Preparing all labels and labelling products ready for despatch
  • Carrying out the shipping process, both domestic and international
  • Managing internal production orders

You’ll be joining a small, yet highly experienced team based at our Crewkerne (Somerset) office. We are hardworking and passionate people, and we are excited by the prospect of growth and the changes this brings with it.

Our Requirements – Despatch Coordinator

No previous experience is required for this role, as full in-depth training will be provided, although you will be required to have:

  • Excellent organisational skills with superb attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working on a computer, with accurate and timely data entry skills
  • Responsible, self-motivated, adaptable, and team player attitude

Although not essential, previous work experience gained in a similar role within a warehouse, factory, or similar environment would be highly advantageous.
