Recruitment Manager

Ideal career opportunity for either an experienced internal recruiter, talent acquisition partner or perhaps a recruitment consultant, who would welcome a refreshing new challenge in a service delivery role, that will utilise current skills and knowledge and enable further development within our unique environment.

This newly created Recruitment Manager role requires a hands-on, solutions-focused approach whilst leading and mentoring a small Client Support team, helping nurture relationships with our existing clients and delivering an exceptional employer branded job advertising service and recruitment support, to the high standards our clients are accustomed to.

The Role – Recruitment Manager

This is a varied role with a fast pace of work and plenty of multi-tasking, and you’ll need to develop an in-depth understanding of our clients, services, systems, and processes. Responsibilities will require you to:

  • Proactively phone our existing clients to nurture relationships, and provide support and advice to ensure that live vacancies advertised by us for them, lead to a hire
  • Respond to prospective client enquiries received via referrals, website enquiries and through networking, gather and understand recruitment requirements and advise on our relevant solutions
  • Gather detailed vacancy information from clients and provide tailored talent attraction and recruitment advice to ensure each job advertising campaign is effective
  • Proofread job advert copy written by colleagues, ensuring content is effectively tailored to the desired talent pool and keywords optimised for search engines
  • Lead, develop and motive a small Client Support Team to ensure delivery of an efficient and high-quality job advertising and recruitment support service
  • Undertake regular quality control activity to ensure standards remain high and identify areas for employee training and development
  • Network at JVP seminars, external events and exhibitions, to raise brand awareness and build relationships with potential referral partners and prospective new clients

You will be required to assist with the following activities during busy periods and to cover leave:

  • Write employer branded job advert copy tailored for each campaign to send for client approval, prior to colleagues publishing the content across our extensive job board network and social media channels
  • Where required by a client, review and shortlist their applications, conduct preliminary telephone interviews and coordinate the interview process
  • Complete research and messaging activity on LinkedIn for clients utilising our Talent Sourcing solution

The Package

  • Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.15pm
  • Starting salary in the region of £26,000 to £30,000, level dependent on current skills and experience
  • Company performance-based annual bonus
  • Generous annual leave starting at 25 days and rising with increments to 30 days with length of service, plus bank holidays

You’ll be working at our prestigious offices located on the New Vision Business Park in St Asaph (North Wales), conveniently situated near to the A55 and commutable from Chester or Bangor. Our Requirements – Recruitment Manager

  • Experienced as either an internal recruiter, talent acquisition partner or recruitment consultant
  • Solutions-focused and highly driven
  • A positive attitude with enthusiasm to continue to learn
  • An inquisitive mindset with a helpful, friendly, confident, and professional telephone manner
  • Natural ability for written communication with a high level of grammar, spelling and attention to detail – the little details really do matter to us and our clients
  • Strong IT skills, along with timely and accurate typing skills
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively whilst managing multiple tasks at any one time
  • Ability to lead, develop and motivate a small team
