Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer (CNC)

What will this role of Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer (CNC) entail?

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining all CNC machines, plant equipment and facilities, and improving overall equipment reliability by performing scheduled maintenance activities within the company’s busy Nottingham facility.

Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

  • Carrying out repairs / fault finding on all types of CNC machines, plant and equipment
  • Developing a total preventative maintenance (TPM) schedule and carrying out as necessary
  • Reporting breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management
  • Identifying critical spare requirements for all machines
  • Managing the monthly maintenance budget

What will I need to be considered for this Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer (CNC) vacancy?

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer gained within an Aerospace or Production environment
  • Qualified to a minimum level of City & Guilds plus 17th / 18th wiring regulations qualification
  • Mechanical and electrical experience on a variety of CNC machines including Fanuc, Siemens and Mazatrol controls
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic / hydraulic systems and PLC commissioning and maintenance
