The Role – Key Account Administrator

Reporting to the Office Manager and working as part of the Administration department, as Key Account Administrator you will play a vital role in coordinating and supporting the Key Account Manager and Account Management teams to plan and coordinate the delivery of our orders, whilst ensuring the end customer always receives a satisfactory service.

Your duties will include:

  • Responding to customer queries via email, video conference and over the phone
  • Booking sales and service orders and associated purchase orders
  • Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries
  • Liaising with the Sales and Service teams to check parts, pricing and quotations
  • Issuing order acknowledgements, updating customers on deliveries
  • Supporting the Key Account Manager on operational requirements including planning/auditing for consignment stock on customer sites
  • Liaising with the Accounts department to check payments have been received
  • Supporting with proof of delivery, stock receipts, invoice verification, and shipping and invoicing
  • Participating in annual stock checks

Working from our modern office in Newport Pagnell (Milton Keynes), you will benefit from:

  • Permanent contract, working full time hours Monday to Thursday 8:45am to 5pm and 8:45am to 4:30pm on Friday

Our Requirements – Key Account Administrator

  • Proven experience within a similar role, or within general office administration
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage changing priorities in a busy environment
  • Superb customer service and interpersonal skills, with a professional phone manner
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to work
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use a CRM system
