What will this role of Estate Manager entail?

As an Estate Manager, you will take a leading role within the Estate and Property team, to whom you’ll provide leadership, supervision, guidance and direction. You’ll work to make a real difference to the long-term wellbeing of all property, land and forestry across the estate, including 9000 acres of land, 200+ residential properties, 8 tenant farms, 4 pubs and multiple commercial lets.

Your focus will be on developing the commercial and environmental success of our business whilst maintaining strong relationships with our tenants, contractors and service providers, whilst ensuring the estate is a great place to live and work. 

What will I need to be considered for this Estate Manager vacancy?

  • Proven rural land management experience along with a relevant qualification
  • RICS Membership in a relevant Rural discipline
  • Strong financial acumen and experience of managing large budgets
  • The ability to analyse data, to identify trends and understand the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats on the estate

Although not essential, the ideal candidate would also have great working knowledge of historic buildings.

Contract: Permanent contract. 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7.
