Are you kind, caring and have a natural empathy for others. If so, it sounds like you'd be a great fit at Home Instead. We are looking for Home Care Assistants to work in the Buckley area (and other areas of Flintshire including Hawarden, Ewloe, Northop and Mold.)

You will be providing care and companionship for our elderly clients who still live in their own homes. Home Instead's range of services enables them to live fulfilled lives and maintain their independence in the place that they feel the happiest. All our clients have personalised care plans however, as their Caregiver you may be required to perform any of the following duties:

- Personal Care
- Medication Support
- Light Housework
- Grocery Shopping
- Food prep/cooking meals
- Conversation and companionship
- Transportation to appointments
- Support contact with families via technology where relevant

We provide ourselves in non-rushed visits, all our calls are a minimum of one hour, often more enabling you to get to know and build up a professional friendship with your client.

We match our clients to our Caregivers based on experience, personality and shared interests. We also try to keep our staff as local as possible, however due to the nature of the role, a small amount of travel will be involved between clients homes, therefore it is essential that you drive with access to your own vehicle.

You may have worked in care before, or even looked after an ill or elderly family member, but prior experience isn't essential. Your qualities as a person are much more important to us and valued by our clients.

We provide all new Caregivers with essential training that enables you to provide the highest standards of care to our clients, and there are ample opportunities for further training and development during your employment with Home Instead. As well as access to award-winning training you'll also benefit from:

- Excellent rates of pay above National Living Wage
- Holiday Allowance
- Non-uniform policy
- Full PPE provided
- Paid travel time and mileage contributions.
- Support and mentoring
- Employee Discount Scheme
- Free Employee Assistance Programme
