The Role – Senior IT Support Engineer (3rd Line Technical Support)
Based at our Head Office at Tanfield Lea (County Durham), as a Senior IT Support Engineer you’ll be providing both on-site and off-site support for our clients, taking responsibility for implementing solutions and resolving a wide range of technical issues, whilst delivering outstanding levels of service to a diverse range of businesses.
We support our clients with a variety of leading software and hardware solutions, in terms of software we primarily provide support with Microsoft products, however, we also provide support for Sage, Adobe, Apple and Android mobile OS, as well as network printing and back-up technologies. In relation to hardware we focus on HP, HP Enterprise, Aruba, Cisco, and Meraki products, in addition to setting up firewalls and network switches and servers.
You’ll be provided with access to the latest support tools, remote monitoring, management and automation tools enabling you to provide the highest level of technical expertise and support.

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a 4:30pm finish on Fridays. You’ll be part of an on-call rota, and there will be occasional weekend work (typically once every 2 to 3 months) required to meet business needs.
