x1 Livestock Person, Bull Stud and x1 Calf Rearer / Administrator Assistant

Due to continued business growth, two roles have been created for a Livestock Person, and a Calf Rearer.
What will these roles of Livestock Person, and Calf Rearer entail?
Reporting to the Livestock Manager, both roles will be responsible for all aspects of bull and livestock welfare, including feeding, cleaning, bedding, general animal husbandry and moving stock as required.

What will I need to be considered for these Livestock Person, and Calf Rearer vacancies?
For the Calf Rearer / Administrator Assistant vacancy you will need prior experience of animal husbandry, rearing young stock, and completing veterinary administration, and have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
For the Livestock Person vacancy, you will need prior experience of handling large livestock preferable bulls / cows and a clean driving licence. Bobcat and tractor experience would be preferable, but training can be provided where necessary.

As a Livestock Person or Calf Rearer / Administrator Assistant, you’ll receive a salary of circa. £25,000, along with additional benefits that include 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days with length of service, company matching pension scheme and life insurance.
You’ll be employed on a permanent contract with full time hours, and work on a 7-day rota that will include spring and summer public holidays. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs. You’ll work from our facilities in Aldford, near Chester.
