Manufacturing Planner – Programme and Production
Héroux-Devtek is an international company specialising in the design, development, manufacture, integration, testing and repair and overhaul of landing gear and actuation systems and components for the Aerospace market. Founded in 1942, the business has a rich history which includes manufacturing the landing gear for the Apollo Lunar Module which landed on the moon’s surface in 1969.
What will this role of Manufacturing Planner entail?
As a Manufacturing Planner, you’ll take on a very varied role that will see you manage all supply relating to your Production Area, and all demand relating to your programme, ensuring that firm and forecast sales orders are correctly aligned on the ERP system.
You’ll produce a monthly Production Plan that takes into account all customer requirements, material availability and production capacity, and ensure it’s communicated and tracked with all appropriate stakeholders.
You’ll also produce the Sales Plan for original equipment, spares and warranty orders. You’ll review performance against the Plan and ensure all risks and opportunities are communicated to key stakeholders, taking action to resolve any issues that may impact the Plan. Your role will also include identifying and communicating external shortages and working with buyers to agree and improve supplier delivery dates.

As a Manufacturing Planner, you’ll receive an attractive salary, level dependent on experience and qualifications, along with great additional benefits including: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, and salary sacrifice healthcare scheme.
Contract: Permanent, working Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 1pm
Location: Runcorn (Cheshire)
