Car Parking Attendant (Park Ranger)

What will this role of Car Parking Attendant (Park Ranger) entail?

Joining us during our Halloween and Festival of Light period, which is the UK’s original, biggest and unsurpassed lantern festival, as a Car Parking Attendant, you’ll assist with traffic control as guests arrive and leave. You’ll ensure safety at all times for guests and your colleagues and provide support for emergency situations and any special events.

You’ll also take great pride in ensuring the park, buildings and open spaces throughout Longleat are kept in excellent condition and are always well presented. You’ll be responsible for undertaking the removal of waste and for ensuring litter-picking and cleansing is undertaken daily.

What will I need to be considered for this Car Parking Attendant (Park Ranger) vacancy?

  • Willingness to learn with an abundance of enthusiasm and energy
  • Good team player with the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Ability to positively interact with members of the public
  • Honest, reliable and flexible to work extra hours / weekends as required

You will be offered a fixed-term contract that will run through to the 5th of January 2020, with working hours to vary on a 7-day rota basis – earliest rota’d start time from 8am, and latest finish time up to 8pm.

Up to full time hours are available from early to mid-October and during December. During November, hours will be available 4 days per week.
