Business Development Manager Predominantly working from home / field based covering the UK

The Role – Business Development Manager

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll be focused on proactively increasing Cemfree market size and revenue within designated market sectors by engaging clients, developers, specifiers, contractors and manufacturers to identify and secure Cemfree supply opportunities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team, who are actively contributing to changing the landscape of the construction industry of the future. This position is ideal for someone looking for an autonomous role with scope to develop their career in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and who wants to be a part of shaping the future of the business line.

You will be working from home, travelling to prospective and existing client sites across the UK. Visits to our head office in Cambridgeshire will be required around 2 to 3 times per month.

The Package

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll receive the following benefits:

  • Competitive salary (level dependent on experience) plus uncapped commission with on-target earnings of £50,000 to £60,000 
  • Permanent contract, working full time hours, Monday to Friday
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

  • Life assurance (x3 salary)
  • Company vehicle or equivalent allowance

Our Requirements – Business Development Manager

  • Proven track record in delivering results within a field-based business development or sales role gained within the building / construction sector
  • High levels of accountability, tenacity and drive, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport, and present information articulately and engage audiences at all levels
  • Superb organisational skills with a methodical approach to project management
  • Resilient, robust, and emotionally intelligent
  • Full UK driving licence

Although not essential, knowledge and experience within the ready-mixed and/or precast concrete market, would be highly advantageous.
