Process Operator (Extrusions) – Permanent contract working 36 hours per week over three days, Monday to Wednesday 5am to 5:30pm

The Role - Process Operator (Extrusions)

As a Process Operator, you’ll receive full training enabling you to carry out the production / manufacturing process on your designated production cell in the Extrusions Department. Your duties will include:

• Achieving the production targets set for the department
• Highlighting and communicating any minor faults which may cause delay to production
• Ensuring all operating conditions are correct before commencing manufacture
• Ensuring the work area is kept clean and safe at all times
• Maintaining accurate records of production
• Contributing to daily shop floor team meetings

You’ll be based at our busy factory located on Sealand Road, on the outskirts of Chester City Centre, working 36 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 5am to 5:30pm.

Our Requirements – Process Operator (Extrusions)

• Experience gained within a manufacturing / heavy industry production environment
• Team player with excellent timekeeping skills
• A flexible attitude and open to overtime opportunities, with a quality focused mindset

Although not essential, an understanding of the importance of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S alongside experience of operating extrusion presses would be desirable.
