Sales Office Administrator

IQD Frequency Products have been providing time and frequency control devices into the electronics industry for close to 50 years. Our Head Office is based in the UK but supports customers across the world. Four years ago, we became part of the Wurth eiSos Group, one of the leading manufacturers of electronic and electromechanical components. The eiSos Group includes 7,000 employees and has an active sales team based in every country in the world.

We have an international, multicultural, and multilingual team, including French, German, Polish and Finnish colleagues, with imminent plans to welcome Chinese and Indian members too.

The Role – Sales Office Administrator

Reporting to the Sales Office Manager and joining our highly experienced and passionate team, as Sales Office Administrator you will provide dedicated customer service and sales administration support for the IQD customer base and the IQD Sales and Business Development Teams.

Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:

  • Sales order entry and expediting
  • Updating internal and external open order books for major customers
  • Preparing quotations on CRM system for completion by internal sales
  • Updating and maintaining customer records on the CRM system
  • Co-ordinating aftersales customer service 
  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Ensuring actions from visit reports are completed
  • Establishing strong relationships, both internal and external

Our Requirements – Sales Office Administrator

  • Highly computer literate with the ability to use a CRM and ERP system and general office software tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with good telephone manner
  • Approachable team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Confident and dynamic self-starter, able to work independently whilst following established working practices
  • Well organised, able to multi-task, and effective time management skills
  • Tenacious and determined
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy with strong integrity

Although not essential, experience working within either sales, customer service or administration would be beneficial, as would the ability to speak a second language.

The Package

As Sales Office Administrator, you’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible working available around start and finish times.

You’ll be working from the head office in Crewkerne in Somerset. There will be occasional overseas travel, with opportunities to visit our German HQ.
