Based on performance of other team members during their first year with the company, you could be earning in the region of £400 - £800 per month in commission/bonus, then significantly more as you excel in the role and company. Financial reward will be based on your individual performance, and could see you earn up to £30,000 in your first year.

You will be offered a permanent contract working within 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Although high performers often gain the perk of an early finish or half day Friday upon hitting targets.                                           

Working within comfortable modern offices in Burscough (Ormskirk, West Lancashire), you’ll have access to the latest technology. The office is commutable from areas such as Skelmersdale, Wigan, St Helens, Southport, Knowsley, Aintree and Maghull.

What will this role of Internal Sales Executive / Appointment Maker entail?

Working as part of a well-established, highly driven and lively team of 20, with the support of the Sales Manager, as a Sales Executive / Appointment Maker, you’ll take ownership of your workload with responsibility for contacting existing, lapsed and prospective customers with the aim to secure new and additional business.

Your working day will consist of making outbound sales calls and providing exceptional customer service, with a combination of warm and cold leads. Further duties will include:

  • Arranging appointments for the Field Sales team where appropriate, ensuring full notes and preparation are passed to the colleague attending the appointment
  • Using marketing campaign information to contact customers in a controlled way
  • Managing the CRM system effectively, ensuring all relevant customer information is entered onto the system
  • Ensuring sales targets are achieved, along with other activity-based targets

You will receive comprehensive and structured training that will enable you to focus on identifying sales opportunities for Cloud, Data, Systems and Mobiles with a small range of other products, booking qualified appointments for the Field Sales team.

To be considered for this Internal Sales Executive / Appointment Maker role you will have;

  • Proven experience of working in an outbound sales role
  • A successful track record within sales, or outbound calling to book appointments with prospective clients
  • Self-motivated and be results driven with hunger for success and progression
  • Enthusiasm and keenness to learn
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • Good IT skills including the use of CRM databases, along with accurate data entry skills
