Senior Export Sales Administrator

Hybrid / part home working opportunity

The Role – Senior Export Sales Administrator

Reporting to the Sales Office Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing product and custom project orders for the complete range of Sonardyne equipment, ensuring that they are delivered in strict compliance with export and shipping regulations whilst maximising customer satisfaction.

Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:

  • Processing purchase orders and contracts received from customers, and producing invoices
  • Liaising with the Engineering / Project team regarding more complex customer orders, ensuring all aspects of the products are accurately reflected in the production / ordering process
  • Applying for export and re-export licences, whilst maintaining the database of products which require these licences
  • Attending regular meetings to ensure the project plans are being adhered to and updating the customer as necessary
  • Working with the Production Planning team to coordinate optimal despatch and delivery dates for worldwide shipments
  • Managing and prioritising tasks for the internal packing team
  • Liaising with external couriers and freight forwarders, ensuring documentation complies with export and VAT regulations

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 (flexibility with start and finish times is available subject to management agreement).

You’ll be based at our global head office located on the Blackbushe Business Park in Yateley, Hampshire, with ample free parking and flexibility for hybrid / part home working.

Our Requirements – Senior Export Sales Administrator

  • Proven experience in a sales administration / order processing role
  • Up-to-date knowledge of applying for export licenses
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • IT savvy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills

Although not essential, experience handling project or custom purchase orders would be advantageous.
