We currently have an exciting, immediate vacancy for a Management Accountant to join our busy Finance team.
The Management Accountant role:
As the Management Accountant, you will have responsibility for producing and developing monthly financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and KPI’s. You will need to demonstrate a wide commercial approach to understanding our business which includes the core operation of the running of the Zoo, including our commercial operations of Guest Experience, Catering and Retail, as well as our charity focused Conservation and Education departments. You will be heavily involved in commercial systems development and also have management responsibility of a small team.
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant will:
Experience of using Navision accounting software and Jet reports would be desirable for the role.
It would be an advantage if candidates are available immediately/at short notice.
Working hours are negotiable between 35 to 40 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am to 5pm.
The salary is £45,647.95 per annum based on working 40 hours per week, this will be pro-rated for lesser working hours. In addition, we offer a range of amazing benefits which can be found on the Chester Zoo careers page.
