Sales / Business Development Executive (Outbound)

Rapidly growing call handling company Face for Business have created an additional role for an experienced professional with proven experience working in a business development role.

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to self-generate prospects for your own sales and create and qualify appointments for the Business Development Manager. This role will involve cold calling into a base of customers, some of which you will have “common ground” and some of which you will be introducing Face for Business to their business for the first time.

You must be self-motivated with the ability to build rapport quickly and communicate at all levels. You will already understand how to deal with gate keepers and be able to demonstrate how you can tenaciously reach the right person using calling or digital platforms. You will have a strong desire to exceed targets and a real passion to build our business.

Who will I be working with?

Face for Business provide telephone answering and messaging services for businesses of all sizes across the UK. The ambitious company continues to make significant investment into technology and its people, and has offices situated in a beautiful canal-side location within the scenic town of Burscough.

Face for Business is significantly investing in the next stage of its growth, in the call answering sector, and is entering the market for Livechat services. The company’s aim is to be seen as the go to provider within key Lines of Business.

The growing business currently employs 26 members of staff, who benefit from a modern open plan working environment, and a friendly atmosphere where teamwork and communication flows naturally.

What will I need in order to be considered for this vacancy?

  • Proven experience in business development and sales with outbound calling
  • Proven track record in hitting and exceeding targets
  • Superb communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and long-term client relationships
  • Highly motivated with a positive, pro-active ‘can do’ attitude
  • Good IT skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Salesforce or other similar CRM platforms

Starting Salary: £20,000 per annum, plus uncapped bonus OTE of £25,000 to £30,000

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.

Location: Burscough (near Ormskirk, West Lancashire). Easy to commute to with excellent road links from Preston, Liverpool, Southport and Wigan.

Contract Type: Permanent
