Software Developer (Remote Working / Working from Home in the UK) - 6 months fixed term contract

We are excited to be part of a brand new project in cooperation with Innovate UK, Bangor University, Menai Science Park and Animated Technologies, and are seeking a Software Developer to join our team to help bring this exciting new-to-market application to life.

The Software Developer role

Due to the detail being under embargo currently, we are unable to share much about the project at this stage, although we can tell you that it is an exciting software development greenfield project, at the forefront of modern communication and building on inclusive and accessible design from the ground up, and we are so excited to be a part of it.

It is not essential to have had experience with any or all of the technologies mentioned below, but they will give you an insight to those we are looking to use for this project, and we’re happy to talk to you about other technologies that you think should be explored; Golang; React; PostgreSQL; Amazon Web Services; Accessible Design; Machine Learning; Automatic translation; WebRTC; Terraform; Ansible.

What you must have, is a passion for coding, an inquisitive nature, excellent listening skills, and the desire and drive to learn and develop quickly.

What will I receive in return?

As a Software Developer, you’ll join an ambitious business where you’ll be supported to develop your skills, whilst being given the autonomy and space to get on with the task in hand, as part of a team of interesting and likeminded people.

You’ll receive a salary in the region of £20,000 to £30,000 (pro rata) with the level dependent on your experience and qualifications. You’ll be employed on a 6 month fixed term contract until the end of May 2021, working full time hours within Monday to Friday.

Our head office is based in Anglesey, North Wales, however this position will be a remote working / work from home opportunity. There will be the occasional social event as a team because we like to have some fun too! And you will also have a desk in the office if preferred.
