Permanent contract, working 36 hours per week over 3 days.

The Role - Process Operator (Spinner)

As a Process Operator you’ll receive full training on our machinery, enabling you to operate the Spinner machine effectively and produce high quality products. You’ll be part of a close-knit team operating over a 2-shift pattern, with your varied duties to include, although not be limited to:

• Adjusting machines according to specifications (i.e., widths, lengths and thickness of materials)
• Monitoring machine performance to detect any malfunctions, reporting or resolving problems where possible
• Maintaining accurate records of production
• Loading raw material as required
• Performing test production runs
• Achieving the production targets set for the department on a daily basis

You’ll be based at our busy factory located on Sealand Road, on the outskirts of Chester City Centre, working 36 hours per week, on a rotating shift pattern of 6am to 6pm Monday to Wednesday, and 6pm to 6am Sunday to Tuesday.

• Previous experience within a manufacturing / heavy engineering environment, ideally with experience of operating machinery
• Good problem-solving skills
